DEPUTY DIRECTOR
We are currently seeking one (1) full-time Deputy Director. The Deputy Director is a second-in-command role reporting to the CEO with direct responsibility for contracts, licensure-related compliance, community health/federal programs, facilities & safety, and support to COPE subsidiaries. The Deputy will also have responsibility for coordination, support, knowledge transfer, and other types of direct involvement throughout the organization. The Deputy Director will also act on behalf of the CEO in his absence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral science (e.g. psychology, social work, organizational development/behavior, etc), social science (e.g. sociology, counseling, public health), public administration, management or related discipline.
§ Ten (10) years of senior level experience in a large mental health, healthcare, or social/human service organization, which includes five (5) years served in a supervisory/administrative role.
§ Budgetary and financial management experience preferred.
§ Clinical experience desirable.
§ Personal experience with recovery a plus.
§ Bicultural and bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable.

MEDICAL DIRECTOR
The Medical Director shall oversee the clinical services of COPE Community Services, Inc. and monitor that all services delivered to our clinical population are medically necessary, provided within the least restrictive environment, are cost effective, and of the highest possible quality.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:- A Doctor of Medicine licensed by the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners plus a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience and two (2) years experience in a supervisory or training role.
- Must be licensed with the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners and Drug Enforcement Administration.
- Must have proof of professional liability coverage of at least one million dollars.
- Must be a practitioner in good standing with the agency with practice privileges consistent with clinical qualifications.
- Must have knowledge of managed care principles and role as Medical Director.
- Must have knowledge of the special needs of SMI, brain injured, geriatric, and substance abuse populations.
- Administrative services performed in managed care settings.
- Administrative and Clinical Services performed in community based mental health programs.
- Working with clients who have serious medical or neurological disorders including the developmentally disabled.
- Working with clients who have serious and persistent mental illness.
- Working with clients who have co-occurring disorders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership – Oversee the provision of COPE covered services in order to evaluate and improve the utilization of behavioral health services.
- Credentialing and Privileging – Comply with credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Care & Treatment – Provide client care in a culturally, linguistically, and developmentally appropriate manner while protecting client rights (R9-20-203), and promoting client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, abilities, privacy and choice.
- Service Utilization – Provide COPE covered services in order to monitor, evaluate and improve the utilization of behavioral health services.
- Documentation – Record and document client information in a quality and timely manner.

PSYCHIATRIST
We are currently seeking full-time Psychiatrist to work at our case management sites. The Psychiatrist serves as a team member in the provision of services in accordance to a client’s individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change. The Psychiatrist will assume medical decision-making responsibilities in the assessment and management of behavioral health disorders of clients referred to them.DUTIES:
Adhere to the practice standards of the local community for their specialties and will follow all Department of Health Services regulations and policies related to the treatment of persons suffering from substance abuse and mental illnesses. Participate in interdisciplinary staffings and consults for clients as needed. Provide education to clients, their families, and to staff members related to medication, mental health diagnosis and medical conditions. Coordinate care with primary care physicians when appropriate. Adhere to guidelines related to pharmacy practices. Assume responsibility for the behavioral health evaluation, assessment, and treatment of clients referred. Effectively match client needs with available services while maintaining client in the least restrictive environment. Obtain prior authorizations for restricted proprietary or non-formulary medications or procedures (e.g., ECT, community referral, neurological psychological testing) through the Medical Director of Assistant Medical Director. Responsible for meeting encounter production requirements as specified by the Medical Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD or DO with the completion of an accredited psychiatric residency training program plus experience working in managed care settings.
- Experience working with clients who have serious and persistent mental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and traumatic brain injury; and psychiatric treatment of the developmentally disabled.
- Licensed with the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners and Drug Enforcement Administration.
- A practitioner in good standing with the agency with practice privileges consistent with clinical qualifications.

NURSE PRACTITIONER
Tucson, AZ positions (40 hours/week)
Green Valley, AZ position (24 hours/week)
We are currently seeking Nurse Practitioners to work at our case management sites. This position is an active member of a community based integrated service delivery network. The Nurse Practitioner will assume clinical decision making responsibilities in the assessment and management of behavioral health disorders in collaboration with the Medical Director as designated practice sites. The NP will assume responsibility of the following: behavioral health evaluation and assessment of clients referred, psychopharmacologic management of clients referred, consult with ancillary services, physician specialists and social services agencies in order to assist the client and family in attaining maximum good health, share the responsibility with administrative, medical, nursing and other personnel for the quality of efficiency of client care services, participate in peer review with other professional staff members.MININIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree with a major in Nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing with satisfactory completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Must have current DEA number and one (1) year experience in a psychiatric setting.
- Certified as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has prescribing privileges through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
- Is a practitioner in good standing with the agency with practice privileges consistent with clinical qualifications.

We are currently seeking a full-time Software Quality Assurance Analyst. Under general supervision is responsible for evaluating and testing new and modified software programs, and verify the code functions according to specifications.

CLINICAL SPECIALIST – (THERAPIST)
We are currently seeking full-time Clinical Specialists. Duties are to perform clinical services including assessment, services plan development, case coordination, counseling, and act as a clinical consultant to the treatment team as directed. The Clinical Specialist serves as a team member in the provision of services in accordance to a client’s individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change.
MININUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree from an accredited college in a behavioral health field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services (i.e. assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individuals behavioral health issues) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health. At the time of hire, must be actively engaged in the process of becoming licensed in an appropriate discipline (counseling, social work, or substance abuse) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Must be licensed within six (6) months of hire to continue in position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree from an accredited college in a behavioral health field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services (i.e. assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individuals behavioral health issues) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health. RECOVERY TEAM ASSOCIATE/CLINICAL LIAISON – VARIOUS LOCATIONS
We are currently seeking full-time RTA/CL’s for our case management sites. Responsibilities are to provide and coordinate all covered services (e.g. case management, outreach, crisis intervention, and counseling) to address clients’ individual treatment needs. The RTA/CL coordinates all civil commitment process as outlined in the Title 36 Statutes. Is expected to cooperate as a team member and provide services to promote positive behavioral change for clients. The RTA/CL is responsible for clinical oversight of client care, and to the team as it relates to the delivery of services, including the assessment and service planning processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in a behavioral health (BH) related field plus two (2) years of BH work experience.
- Associates degree in a non- behavioral health related field plus 30 semester hours in BH education and three (3) years of BH work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a BH related field, no experience necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in a non-BH related field plus 30 semester hours in BH education and two (2) years of BH work experience.
- Masters degree in a BH related field, no experience necessary.
