COPE Community Services, Inc. is a private, nonprofit community service and behavioral health care organization providing pathways to recovery for individuals and families and innovative solutions to community problems.

Recovery Support Groups
The Recovery Support Department at COPE exists to help members further their recovery by providing them with peer support, advocacy, encouragement, education, pre-vocational consulting, and volunteer opportunities. Recovery Support Specialists (RSS's) are trained to work on clinical teams.

SMART Recovery Group
(2 hours; offered twice a week)

- ABC's of REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior
Therapy) for Urge Coping - ABC's of REBT for Emotional Upsets
- Brainstorming
- Change Plan Worksheet
- Role Play Rehearsal
- Cost/Benefit Analysis
- DISARM (Destructive Self-Talk Awareness and Refusal Method)
- Exchange Vocabulary - Substituting Healthy Words for Unhealthy Words.
Friendship Skills Group
(1.5 hours; offered twice a week)

Cross Roads at Ocotillo
(45 minutes; offered five times a week)
This group provides an opportunity to discuss a variety of topics about recovery, what individuals can do to promote recovery, and setting daily and long term goals.
